Organization is so important in couponing, especially when you are in the store with two little children. I do a lot of planning before I go to the store. I look through the ad for sales and then look for coupons that match the sales.
I use a 3 ring binder that closes with a zipper to store everything in it. It’s divided into sections alphabetically and many sections have subcategories.
Here’s a list of the sections I have so far:
(diapers, food, personal care)
Canned (fruits, vegetables)
(fruits/veggies, breads, meals, desserts)
Pasta, Rice, Bread
Personal Care (cosmetics, deodorant, hair care, lotions, oral care, shaving, soap)
Snacks (candy, savory, sweeties)
I found the baseball card sleeves at the dollar store. I also have picture sleeves that work great for the internet coupons.
In the back of the binder I have pockets for several different stores. I often put the store ad in there along with the coupons that I’ve pulled for the week. I’m learning new tricks on how make my time in the actual store quick.
