Yesterday was the final day of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I feel so accomplished working out 30 days in a row.
Here are a few things I learned:
- Measure yourself before you start. I didn’t and wish I had. I know my body has changed, but the scale doesn’t reflect it. Measurements would be a great way to check progress.
- Wear supportive shoes. My feet hurt from all the jumping. I switch to another pair of shoes mid way through and it made such a difference.
- I can work out hard!!! Day 3 I was having my doubts that I would make it through the 30 Days… I did it!
- Accountability is huge! Blogging about it and doing it with others made all the difference.
So what’s next?
My friend Kelly from Kansas City Mamas and I are going to start the P90X Workout or a similar program together on October 29. I’m using Swagbucks to cover the cost. My Apple gift card will have to wait :)
I’ve also been reading Jillian Michael’s Master Your Metabolism. LOVE it. I’m learning so much. I’ll be cleaning out our kitchen cabinets sometime this week. I’ll be looking for ways to change what we eat and still stay within a budget. More to come later…
