The reality is that when you have kids date nights quite often involve a trip to the store (or is that just us?). And Target is where Matt and I ended up after dinner on Tuesday night in the midst of the snow storm. There may have been 10 cars in the parking lot.
My hope was to get in on the Meal & Baking Items Target Gift Card deal before there was limited stock. We make homemade pizza almost every Sunday night. Last week when it was assembly time we realized we didn’t have pizza sauce. We substituted spaghetti sauce. Yuck! And because we didn’t plan and didn’t throw the ingredients in the breadmaker earlier that day (nap time was calling!), I tried a new recipe for dough. Anyway, new recipe + spaghetti sauce = double yuck! I ended up eating leftover Chinese food.
Anyway, I stocked up on pizza sauce, parmesan cheese, and pepperoni.

Before coupons, my total for these items came to $38.96. After coupons, the total came to $31.16. I got (2) $5 Target gift cards and get $0.50 back from Ibotta.
That’s like paying $20.66 for all 20 items! Normally, the 16 ounce Kraft Parmesan are priced over $6 each.
