This is hands-down my favorite treat for this time of year. There’s no reason that it can’t be made other times of the year, but I’m still trying to loss the baby weight from Jack and he’s two.
1 stick of butter, melted
1 (15 oz.) jar of peanut butter
4 cups Rice Krispies, crushed
4 cups of powdered sugar
Mix together melted butter and peanut butter. Add crushed Rice Krispies and mix. Add powdered sugar one cup at a time until dough can be made into balls easily. I use a cookie scoop and then roll the dough into balls.
Chocolate for Dipping
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 bar of paraffin wax
I used a rotary-style cheese grater to grate the paraffin wax. Melt the chocolate and wax slowly in the microwave until smooth.
Dip the peanut butter balls in the chocolate sauce and place on wax paper to hardened. Either store the peanut butter balls at room temperature or freeze.
